Most awaited fashion event of the year! The theme for this year was China: Through the looking glass, tickets going for $25,000. The event is chaired by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and co-chaired by Jennifer Lawrence. These were some of my favourite looks of the night.

Cropped trousers and Bare Midriff

Cropped Trousers! cropped trousers are any trousers that are above the ankle so you can see your beautiful shoes. Designer brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, Miu Miu and more are all embracing this look in all kinds of colours, prints and shapes. You can wear them during the day in the summer with flats or become a fashionista at night by paring the trousers with heels, they are very comfortable and can actually make your legs look longer by showing the ankle bone. I would suggest wearing cropped pants with a shirt or blouse if you are going for a smart look, or if you want to wear them casually wear it with a tank top or a crop top, and if you want to wear them to a party then definitely pair them with your best heels and a peplum top. The overall look is quite trendy, playful and geeky.  

I, myself cant afford all these expensive brands (i wish), so a cheaper solution is to buy them from Topshop, H&M, Marks & Spencers. Crop them cropped trousers!
